This distinction matters enough to put first. Everything below applies to using www.cdmsystemsllc.com and reading what is on it. None of it describes the terms of a job. If CDM Systems, LLC does work for you, that work is governed by the written quote issued for your property and the agreement signed with it. Where the two differ, the quote and the agreement are what count.

This website exists to explain what CDM does, how the work is approached, and where it is done. It is written to be useful to somebody deciding whether to call. It is not a technical specification, and it is not a substitute for having somebody look at your building.

The guides discuss things like cable categories, wireless coverage, cost drivers and the sequence of a new build. They describe how these decisions usually go. They are general information written before anyone has seen your property.

A guide is not a design, not an engineering opinion, and not a quote for a specific building. Buildings differ in ways that change the answer — construction, distances, existing wiring, how the space is used and what is already installed. Do not treat a range or a rule of thumb on this site as a decision about your project. Ask us, or ask whoever is doing the work.

Reading a page, following a link or calling the number on it does not create an agreement between you and CDM Systems, LLC. Descriptions of services are descriptions, not offers, and they are not promises about what will be included in any particular job.

A quote is a quote when it is issued in writing for an identified property, with the scope set out. Nothing else counts as one — not a figure quoted in a guide, not a range on a service page, and not a number given over the phone before anyone has walked the property. Written quotes are also what carry their own validity period and conditions.

The text, the schematics and the diagrams on this site were made for it and belong to CDM Systems, LLC. Please do not republish or reproduce them elsewhere without asking. Reading, printing or sharing a link for your own use is exactly what they are here for.

Where this site links out — to a manufacturer, a standards body or a reference — that link is there because it is useful. It is not an endorsement, and we do not control what those sites say or do. Their content and their privacy practices are their own.

We keep this site accurate and current in good faith, and correct what we find wrong. Even so, it is provided as it is, without warranty that every statement is complete or current or that the site is available without interruption. Products change, prices move, and a page written last year can fall behind.
