Luxury Home Network & WiFi Installation
Professional-grade WiFi and structured network systems for custom homes, luxury residences, and builder-ready smart home infrastructure.
Modern homes depend on WiFi for everything — streaming, work-from-home, smart TVs, security systems, cameras, lighting, thermostats, access control, audio, and automation. CDM Systems designs and installs clean, reliable residential network infrastructure using UniFi / Ubiquiti systems built for performance, coverage, and long-term serviceability.
Luxury Networks, Beautifully Installed

Built Before Drywall. Reliable After Move-In.
The best time to build a reliable home network is before the walls are closed. CDM Systems works with builders, general contractors, electrical contractors, and homeowners to plan WiFi access point locations, rack placement, conduit pathways, ISP entry points, and hardwired network locations while the home is still under construction.
This approach helps avoid weak WiFi, messy equipment closets, exposed cables, and expensive retrofits after the homeowner moves in.
What We Install
A complete residential network platform engineered for coverage, performance, and long-term serviceability.
Structured Network Rack
Clean rack-mounted network equipment, UPS battery backup, patch panel, rack power, and proper cable management.
UniFi / Ubiquiti WiFi
Professional WiFi access points placed for strong whole-home coverage instead of relying on a single router or consumer mesh system.
Outdoor & Property-Wide WiFi
Weatherproof outdoor access points extend reliable coverage beyond the walls — to patios, pool houses, detached garages, driveways, and outdoor living areas across the property.
PoE Network Switching
Power-over-Ethernet switching for WiFi access points, cameras, smart-home devices, and future expansion.
Hardwired Network Locations
Optional hardwired Ethernet locations for home offices, media rooms, TVs, gaming areas, smart-home hubs, and security equipment.
ISP Entry Planning
Conduit and cabling planning for the internet provider entry point so the service handoff is clean and accessible.
Move-In Setup & Commissioning
Final system configuration, testing, homeowner handoff, app access, and basic usage guidance after move-in.
Designed for Luxury Homes
Luxury homes often have more demanding network needs than a typical residence. Larger floor plans, multiple levels, outdoor living spaces, detached garages, pool houses, media rooms, home offices, smart lighting, security cameras, and connected appliances all place additional demand on the network.
CDM Systems designs the network around the home, not around a single router location.
- Whole-home WiFi coverage planning
- Outdoor and property-wide WiFi coverage
- Clean equipment rack installation
- Smart-home and camera readiness
- Hardwired Ethernet options
- Optional 5G internet failover
- Future expansion capacity
- Professional commissioning and support
Builder-Friendly Installation Process
A coordinated process that fits cleanly into your construction timeline — from plan review to homeowner handoff.
Consultation & Plan Review
We review the home layout, rack location, ISP entry point, WiFi coverage needs, and requested hardwired locations.
Prewire Coordination
We coordinate with the builder, general contractor, and electrical contractor for conduit routes, pull strings, power, and backboard placement.
Rack & Device Installation
CDM Systems installs the network rack, UniFi gateway, PoE switch, WiFi access points, patching, labeling, and network terminations.
System Commissioning
We configure the UniFi system, test WiFi coverage, verify hardwired connections, and prepare the network for homeowner use.
Move-In Handoff
After the homeowner moves in, we provide final setup, basic walkthrough, app access, and homeowner guidance.
Builder / Contractor Requirements
CDM Systems provides the network equipment, rack installation, network terminations, UniFi configuration, commissioning, and homeowner handoff. Certain construction-related work must be provided by the builder, general contractor, or electrical contractor.
- 120VAC power at the network rack location
- Backboard or approved mounting surface for the rack
- Conduit routes with pull strings to WiFi access point locations
- Conduit routes with pull strings to requested hardwired network locations
- Conduit route to exterior ISP entry location
- Wall, ceiling, attic, crawlspace, or exterior access as required
- Any required electrical, framing, drywall, painting, or other trade labor
Please note: Electrical contractor, framing contractor, and general contractor labor are not included unless specifically stated in a project proposal.
Integrated Security Camera Systems
Security cameras can be designed into the home as part of the same UniFi ecosystem that runs the network — managed from a single platform with no third-party cloud subscriptions required. Powered by UniFi Protect, cameras are viewable live and recorded on both mobile and desktop, with smart detections, event timelines, and secure remote access from anywhere.
Cameras are built for reliability and durability, with weather-rated housings for dependable indoor and outdoor use and clean single-cable PoE installation. Footage records locally on a UniFi Protect recorder, keeping it on-site and under the homeowner's control. A range of form factors — bullet, turret, and dome — fits both coverage needs and the home's aesthetic.
- Part of the same UniFi ecosystem as the home network — one platform, one app
- Live and recorded video on mobile and desktop through UniFi Protect
- Weather-rated, durable housings for reliable indoor and outdoor use
- Single-cable PoE installation alongside the structured network
- Local recording kept on-site and under the homeowner's control
- Bullet, turret, and dome form factors to match coverage and aesthetics
Camera quantity, placement, recording and storage, and viewing access are tailored to each home and reviewed during consultation.
WiFi That Reaches the Outdoor Entertainment Areas
Luxury living extends well beyond the walls of the home. CDM Systems designs outdoor WiFi coverage for patios, pool areas, outdoor kitchens, and entertainment spaces so guests and smart devices stay connected everywhere on the property. Outdoor-rated UniFi access points extend the same network outside, with seamless roaming between indoor and outdoor zones.
Outdoor access points are weather-sealed for sun, rain, and temperature swings, and mounted discreetly to preserve the home's architecture and landscaping. Coverage is planned around how the space is actually used — streaming on the patio, video calls by the pool, outdoor audio, smart lighting, and landscape controls — so the experience outside is as reliable as it is inside.
- Outdoor-rated UniFi access points for patios, pools, and entertainment areas
- Reliable coverage across pool decks, fire-pit lounges, and outdoor kitchens
- Seamless roaming between indoor and outdoor zones on one network
- Weather-sealed hardware built for sun, rain, and temperature swings
- Discreet mounting that blends into the architecture and landscape
- Planned for streaming, video calls, outdoor audio, and smart lighting
Coverage area, access point count, and placement are tailored to each property and reviewed during consultation.
Reliable Internet Backup with 5G Failover
For homes that can't afford downtime, an optional 5G cellular failover keeps the network online when the primary internet connection goes down. An industrial-grade 5G gateway integrates with the home's UniFi gateway, so if the main connection drops, the network automatically switches to a cellular connection and critical systems stay up.
5G failover integrates with the upgraded UniFi gateway, so the premium firewall / gateway upgrade is required. Some homes with weaker indoor 5G coverage may benefit from an exterior antenna for reliable signal acquisition. The homeowner provides the carrier 5G data plan, and CDM Systems programs, configures, and tests the failover.
- Automatic failover to 5G cellular if the primary internet goes down
- Industrial-grade 5G gateway integrated with the home's UniFi gateway
- Requires the premium UniFi firewall / gateway upgrade
- Keeps critical systems — security, cameras, and smart-home — online
- Outdoor antenna option for homes with weaker indoor 5G signal
- Homeowner provides the carrier 5G data plan; CDM Systems programs the device
Ongoing Network Support After Move-In
After installation, CDM Systems can provide ongoing support for UniFi updates, troubleshooting, performance checks, homeowner questions, and future network expansion. Annual support and maintenance options are available.
