CDM Systems.Free assessment

The system already knows.Somebody Has To Read It.

CDM keeps watch on the networks we build — remote monitoring, firmware and security updates, configuration changes as the building changes, and scheduled health checks — for homes, churches and small business in Bremen, Carrollton and across West Georgia. A plan is optional. The system is yours either way.

Who this is for

Three buildings.Nobody watching any of them.

A service plan is the easiest thing on this site to oversell, so here is the plain version. These are the three situations where paying somebody to watch the network is worth it. Outside them, it is probably not.

01 / Property owners

One number,and no thinking.

Some owners do not want a dashboard, a login or a monthly report. They want the network to work, and they want one phone number that reaches somebody who already knows how the building is wired.

  • We read the alerts so nobody at the property has to
  • Faults found and fixed before they turn into a call
  • Aging equipment flagged while replacing it is still planned
  • A written record of every change we make
Luxury home networks
02 / Churches

The volunteer whoknew it has moved.

Church tech turns over every couple of years and the knowledge leaves in the same truck. The next volunteer inherits a password on a sticky note and a system nobody can explain at 9:55 on a Sunday.

  • Documentation kept current so the handoff is not verbal
  • Updates applied midweek, never on a Saturday night
  • Health checks before the seasons that fill the room
  • Somebody to call who already knows the building
Church networks
03 / Small business

An hour downcosts real money.

Card readers, phones, cameras and the office all ride one network, and the person who ends up rebooting it is whoever happens to be standing closest. Nobody on payroll owns it, so nothing gets watched until it stops.

  • Alerts that arrive before the front counter notices
  • Firmware and security updates handled on a schedule
  • Changes made when you add staff, cameras or space
  • One number instead of a group text about the WiFi

What a plan covers

Six ongoing jobs.None of them exciting.

This is maintenance, not sorcery. Every item below is something the equipment cannot do for itself and nobody in the building has time to do either.

Ask what yours needs

Remote monitoring and alerting

A UniFi system reports on itself constantly — every access point, every switch port, the cameras, the uplink. The reporting is free. Reading it is the work. We watch what the equipment is already saying on the systems we cover, and act on the alerts that matter, which is how we usually call you before you call us.

01

Firmware and security updates

Firmware updates close real security holes, and once in a while they break something at the worst possible moment. Ours get applied deliberately, in a window that suits the building — midweek for a church, outside trading hours for a shop — rather than whenever a device decides to reboot itself.

02

Configuration changes as the building changes

Somebody adds a camera. A storeroom becomes an office. Four people get hired, or a shop goes up out back. A network that is never adjusted quietly stops matching the building it is in. Changes get made properly and written down as they happen.

03

Scheduled health checks

A scheduled look at the things a dashboard cannot see: heat in the rack, a fan that has started to sound wrong, a battery backup coming to the end of its life, coverage in a room that was empty the day we tuned it.

04

Remote and on-site support

Most faults get diagnosed remotely and a good number get fixed that way. The rest get a truck. What is covered after hours and at weekends is written into the plan in plain language before anybody signs it, so nobody is working it out on a Sunday evening.

05

Documentation kept current

The drawing, the port map and the credential list get updated as the system changes, instead of being filed once and left to rot. Documentation that is two years stale is worse than none, because people still trust it.

06

What we are looking at

Monitoring is not magic. It is somebody looking.

Managed network gear has told the truth about itself for years. The difference a plan makes is that the truth gets read by a person who knows what the building is supposed to look like.

Coverage, later

The rack a year on

What is mounted, what it feeds, and what is running out of life. A battery backup does not fail politely, and it never picks a convenient week.

What you keep

The plan is optional. The handover is not.

Every system we build gets documented and handed over whether or not anybody buys support. A company that has to hold your logins to keep your business has already told you what it thinks of its own work.

01

The credentials stay yours

Every account on the system is in the owner’s name. Monitoring is access you grant us — it is not control we hold over your building.

02

A note every time we touch it

What changed, when, and why. So a year from now, why a port got moved is something written down rather than something somebody tries to remember.

03

Documentation that stays true

Labels, port map and drawing updated as the system changes, and handed back to you as they are — not kept on our side to make leaving harder.

04

The right to stop

A plan is a service, not a hostage arrangement. End it and the network keeps running exactly as it did. You keep the documentation and the logins either way.

Our lane

The network infrastructure — gateway and firewall, managed switching, access points, cameras, door access and the cabling under all of it. Monitoring, updates, configuration changes, health checks and support on the systems we built or have taken on after an assessment.

Not our lane

We are not an outsourced IT help desk. Laptops, printers, email accounts, user passwords and the software your business runs on belong to whoever supports your computers. We also do not argue with your internet provider about their bill — though we will tell you, in writing, when the fault is genuinely theirs.

Common questions

Asked beforeAnybody signs anything.

Usually by somebody who has been sold a monthly fee before and is not sure what arrived for it.

Do we actually need a service plan?

No. The system is yours at handover — your equipment, your accounts, your documentation — and it keeps working whether or not you buy support. A plan earns its money when downtime costs you real money, when nobody on site owns the network, or when the person who understands it is going to change. If none of those is true of your building, do not buy one.

01

What does remote network monitoring actually watch?

Device health and uptime, switch ports, access points, the internet uplink, and the alerts the equipment raises on its own. A UniFi system reports all of that continuously, and almost nobody ever looks at it. The value is not the reporting, which you already own. It is somebody reading the reporting and acting before the building notices.

02

How much does a network service plan cost?

It depends on how much equipment is on the system, whether it is one building or several, and how much of the support you want handled under the plan rather than quoted job by job. We will not put a number on a building we have not walked. The free network assessment comes first and a written quote follows it.

03

Can you monitor a network that somebody else installed?

Sometimes. It depends on what the equipment is, whether it can be managed remotely at all, and whether anyone can tell us what is plugged into what. Where there is no documentation, we have to build some first — monitoring a system nobody has mapped tells you that something is wrong without telling you where. That is what the assessment sorts out.

04

Is this the same as hiring an IT company?

No, and it is worth being clear about it. This is network support for the infrastructure — the gateway, the switching, the access points, the cameras and the cabling underneath them. It is not a help desk for laptops, printers, email accounts or the software your business runs on. Plenty of clients keep an IT provider for that and use us for the layer beneath it. We are narrower than a managed services company on purpose, because we only support what we can actually stand behind.

05
