The houses hereFight The Cable.

Newnan is about fifty minutes from Bremen, across country on GA-16 rather than down an interstate, so it is a planned trip rather than a drop-in. What gets planned for is a town that calls itself the City of Homes and means it — six historic districts on the National Register, and most of them full of plaster, lath and no obvious route for a cable.

Who we build for in Newnan

Old walls,New Equipment.

Newnan grew 28.8 percent between 2010 and 2020 and has added another eight percent since, but the middle of the town is still nineteenth century. New equipment going into old framing is most of what we get called about here.

01 / Luxury residential

Original trim.No obvious route.

A house built long before anyone wrote a cabling standard has no chase, no usable attic run and no owner who wants holes in the millwork. Getting a cable to where it needs to be is the whole job, not a step in it.

  • Retrofit cabling through plaster, lath and balloon framing
  • Coverage planned around walls that actually stop signal
  • UniFi Protect cameras sited for the fewest penetrations
  • Pre-wire on new builds and full reconstructions
Luxury home networks
02 / Churches

Old sanctuaries,new expectations.

A congregation meeting in a building that predates the equipment by a century still expects the livestream to hold and the guest WiFi to work. The constraint is the room, not the gear.

  • Sanctuary WiFi built for the room at capacity
  • Livestream bandwidth with cellular failover
  • Cable routes chosen to leave historic finishes alone
  • Production audio, video and lighting
Church systems
03 / Small business

Exit 47 retail,downtown offices.

Newnan carries two kinds of commercial building at once — newer retail and medical space out toward I-85, and offices sitting inside buildings that were something else first.

  • Office, retail and warehouse network buildouts
  • Cat6 and fiber, terminated, tested and labeled
  • Racks, NAS storage and wiring closet cleanups
  • Handoff sorted with whichever provider serves the address

On the ground

What is actuallyDifferent about Newnan.

Newnan is about 50 minutes from the shop in Bremen — Coweta County, on GA-16. Buildings here have their own habits, and knowing them is most of what separates a quote from a guess.

The City of Homes is a retrofit problem

City of Homes is Newnan’s own tagline, and it exists because Sherman’s forces went around the town rather than through it. Around ten thousand soldiers were housed in seven field hospitals here from 1863, and the houses came through. Six historic districts sit on the National Register and more than forty structures are recognized. A town full of surviving nineteenth-century houses is a town full of retrofit cabling problems. Plaster and lath, balloon framing, no useful attic access, additions framed onto additions, and owners who quite reasonably do not want holes cut in original trim.

01

The internet here is not like the rest of the corridor

FCC broadband data from December 2025 puts WOW! at 87.4 percent of Newnan addresses, Charter at 63.1 and Comcast at 12.2. WOW! is here because it bought NuLink for $53 million in September 2016, taking on 34,000 homes and businesses, and its only Georgia markets are Newnan, Columbus, Augusta and Fort Gordon. AT&T Fiber expanded here in May 2024. Equipment and handoff assumptions that hold in Carrollton or Bremen do not automatically hold in Newnan. Worth saying plainly: Newnan Utilities is not an internet provider and has not been since it sold its cable system in 2008.

02

Parts of the town are still being rebuilt

An EF-4 tornado crossed Newnan on 25 March 2021 with peak winds of 170 mph, damaging more than 1,700 homes and destroying around seventy. One person was killed. Three years on, the rebuilding is uneven. The practical point for our trade is a narrow one: while a house is open to the framing, cable is a simple job, and once the drywall goes back it is not.

03

There is no interstate between us

Newnan is 34.9 miles from Bremen and about fifty minutes, and none of it is interstate. I-85 runs through Newnan, I-20 runs past us, and the two do not meet anywhere that helps. The road between is GA-16, across country. So Newnan gets scoped properly before anyone loads a van — the right parts, the right ladders, and no assumption that somebody can swing back on Thursday for a connector.

04

Old buildings given new jobs

The University of West Georgia’s Newnan campus is the 1925 Newnan Hospital rehabilitated into 84,000 square feet, open since January 2015. Piedmont Newnan Hospital opened on Poplar Road in 2012 with 136 beds and reached 217 after its South Tower in 2024. The rehabilitated building is the pattern we meet again and again here — a structure put up for one purpose, running a network that is expected to behave as though the building were new.

05

Growth, and the fact that it has slowed

Newnan is at 45,867 people, up eight percent since 2020 after a 28.8 percent decade before that. Coweta County is at 160,240, up 9.6 percent, with a median household income of $95,548 and a median home value of $364,700. Yamaha Motor Manufacturing is the largest private employer in the county, Cargill employs around four hundred, and Ashley Park has been pulling retail to exit 47 since 2006. The growth is real, but it has slowed, which means more work on buildings that already exist than on ones that do not yet.

Whether the building is in Newnan or five miles the other side of Bremen, the sequence does not change. What changes is what we find when we walk it.

What people in Coweta actually ask before they call.

Call (770) 828-5748

Is Newnan too far for you to come out to?

No, but we are honest about what it is. Newnan is 34.9 miles and about fifty minutes from Bremen on GA-16, with no interstate between the two, so it gets booked as a planned visit rather than a drop-in. In practice that means we scope the job carefully up front and turn up with what it needs.

01

Can you cable an older Newnan home without wrecking the walls?

Usually, and it is most of what the work looks like in the historic districts. Plaster and lath, balloon framing and additions built onto additions all decide where a cable can go, so we walk the house first and find the routes that already exist before proposing to make new ones. Where a run genuinely is not worth the damage, we will say so.

02

We are on WOW! rather than AT&T or Xfinity. Does that change anything?

It changes the handoff, not the network. WOW! covers a large share of Newnan because it acquired NuLink in 2016, and Newnan is one of only four WOW! markets in Georgia, so the equipment on the wall is often not what we see in Carroll or Haralson County. We design the network to sit behind whatever the provider gives you, which also means it survives you switching.

03

What does a whole-home or whole-building network cost in Newnan?

It depends on how far cable has to travel and how hard the building makes it — an old house with no attic access and finishes worth protecting takes longer than a house with open framing. We do not publish prices, because a number given before anyone has seen the building is a guess. The free assessment comes first, then a written quote.
